The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said we can all live together as one in Nigeria despite our differences.
Tinubu said the major problems we have in Nigeria are a lack of tolerance and unity. He added that the same blood runs in our veins.
The former governor of Lagos State said this while addressing members of the APC in Ondo State on Thursday, May 26, 2022. The visitation is part of his consultation with stakeholders ahead of the APC presidential primary.
The presidential aspirant said that his wife, Remi Tinubu, is a Christian and a pastor, while he is a Muslim. Tinubu added that they debate once in a while, but they have never quarrelled about religion.
He added that while his wife prays with the Holy Bible, he prays with the Quran and they live peacefully.
Tinubu concluded that Nigeria would be better if we could all tolerate one another irrespective of our religious and tribal differences.
Do you agree with Tinubu? Can he emerge as the APC presidential candidate?
